The first document of the Second Vatican Council, Sacrosantum Concilium, promulgated on December 4^th 1963, marked the beginning of a new phase in the liturgical life of the Church.  The forty years that have passed, since the Second Vatican Council, have emphasized the “liturgical movement” which was being fermented since the last century.  This emphasis has been cristalized with the implementation of the Constitution of the Sacred Liturgy.  With clear theological definitions of biblical and patristic bases the liturgical renovation gave way to the edition of new texts and the creation of national and diocesan commissions and educational institutions like the National Hispanic Institute of Liturgy, to mobilize the liturgical reform and to help transform the hearts of the faithful in every community. ...read more

Para Agentes Hispanos de Pastoral, Clero y Ministros Profesionales para la comunidad hispana en su Diócesis

El primero de los documentos del Concilio Vaticano II, Sacrosantum Concilium, promulgado el 4 de diciembre de 1963, marcó el principio de una nueva face de la vida litúrgica de la Iglesia.  Los cuarenta años que han transcurrido han dado gran impulso a lo que fue el Movimiento Litúrgico, cuyo fermento venía desde el siglo anterior.  Este impulso se ha cristalizado en la “Renovación Litúrgica”, con la implementación de la Constitución sobre la Liturgia a través de definiciones teológicas claras sobre bases bíblicas y patrísticas, la renovación de textos y la creación de Comisiones Nacionales y diocesanas de liturgia, e instituciones educativas, tales como el Instituto Nacional Hispano de Liturgia, para movilizar la Reforma Litúrgica hasta hacerla llegar a una experiencia vívida en la parroquia. ... leer más
